Anemia is low hemoglobin.

There is a long list of causes for anemia. Usually, anemia is grouped by RBC cell size, mean corpuscular volume (MCV).

Microcytic anemia

  • Iron deficiency anemia.
  • Lead toxicity.
  • Sideroblastic anemia.

Macrocytic anemia
