Neuroendocrine markers are immunostains that suggest neuroendocrine differentiation.

Common markers

  • Chromogranin A.
    • Considered the most specific neuroendocrine stain.[1]
  • Synaptophysin +ve.
  • CD56.
    • Less specific than chromogranin A and synaptophysin.
